An excellent read. The author evidently did a great deal of research and just as important, has a smooth writing style that helps keeps you more than interested until you finish, wishing there was more! As someone who has lived in South Carolina most of my life, the book would be eye opening to many, controversial to some. The author makes you feel like you are sweating in the mill, and you can hear the loud noises always present in the mill while it was operating. His character development is detailed and rich. Hopefully he is working on a second book!  – John David Spade
